Leakers and Press
Aren’t the reporters who publish classified materials from leakers just as guilty of a crime as the lowlife that leaked the information? Leaks have been a part of the government ever since that traitor Daniel Ellsberg leaked the Pentagon Papers many decades ago. It must stop and stop now.
What do these anti-USA divulgers of our sensitive information gain from this unpatriotic act? They damage the USA as classified information published by equally scumbag ‘so called journalists’ does no good for the goals of any administration occupying the WH. According to Rob Rosenstein, there has been a major increase in the number of leaks since Obama left office. This represents the current administrations inability to rid the executive branch from the Deep State moles that are leftovers from the Dimms and traitor intelligence community who somehow have appointed themselves as to what information should remain a secret and what should be published.
Breaking a string of social media rebukes against Sessions, the president issued a tweet Saturday afternoon praising his AG for getting tough on White House leaks.
“After many years of LEAKS going on in Washington, it is great to see the A.G. taking action! For National Security, the tougher the better!’’
In a Friday press conference, Sessions vowed to chase down government leakers, and to pressure reporters to give up their sources, possibly by issuing subpoenas demanding source names.
In past weeks, Trump has waged a social media campaign against Sessions, an early campaign supporter who was the first sitting senator to extend his endorsement.
Trump said in an interview that had he known Sessions would recuse himself in the Russian collusion investigation, he would never have nominated him. And in tweets, Trump called Sessions his “beleaguered AG.”
Things got so tense, Sessions tendered his resignation — but it was rejected by Trump.
