Trump Loves His Bible. And Christmas, Too
Throughout Barack Obama’s presidency, he has perpetuated a war on Christmas that has labelled the phrase “Merry Christmas” as “offensive.” Obama and his liberal army have forced millions of Americans to use the politically correct term “happy holidays” so as not to offend anyone.
Donald Trump, however, isn’t having any of it.
Trump has always been a steadfast defender of Christmas and has promised to fight for it during his presidency.
“If I become president, we’re gonna be saying Merry Christmas at every store … You can leave happy holidays at the corner,” Trump once promised.
“[Remember] the expression ‘Merry Christmas?’ You don’t see it anymore. You’re [going to] see it if I get elected, I can tell you right now. I can tell you right now,” he said on another occasion.
Eric Trump even told reporters that his father chose to run for president after learning that Obama had replaced the Christmas tree at the White House with a “holiday tree.”
Trump’s devotion for Christmas is evident in the way he decks out Trump Tower every December. There is an enormous Christmas tree in the building every year, along with tons of decorations. He is expected to put up the tree and the decorations immediately after Thanksgiving.
Obama tried to destroy Christmas, but Trump is about to bring it back in a big way. SHARE this story if you stand with Trump AND Christmas!
